Earlier this week, we informed our readers about Karanvir Bohra making a grand entry in the show. He will play the role of a pyscho in the show, which airs on Star Plus.

"The makers have planned to spice up the drama by introducing a new character. It will be cameo role for Karanvir Bohra. Having played iconic characters like Virat and Prem, he fits the bill perfectly for the show. Considering his acting prowess and willingness to experiment with role, the makers found him the right actor for an important role," our khabri exclusively told Filmibeat.

SHAKTI ARORA TO LEAVE GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN?

In a major development, all the actors including Shakti Arora will be making an exit from the show. However, Bhavika Sharma will continue to be a part of the romantic drama. The creative team has decided to introduce a 10-year leap to increase the ratings.

According to a report in Times Of India, the second season performed well but witnessed a drop in numnbers. Despite introducing new twists and turns, the makers didn't get the required TRPs and hence, they are opting for a leap. The contracts of the artists were also ending this year and this played a big role in the decision, the report added.

The channel and the production house have remained tight-lipped about the development. It remains to be seen who will play the new male lead in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Earlier Shakti Arora denied the buzz surrounding the leap in the show.
