After the popular family drama, which was led by Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma, is set to witness a leap in the storyline. It is reported that the leap in the show will be coming with a lot of new twists for the audience. For instance, lead star Shakti Arora has announced his exit from the show.

It is reported that while Bhavika Sharma has been retained as the female lead of the show, Hitesh Bharadwaj has reportedly been signed up to play the new lead. As per a recent update, Varun Jain will also be seen entering Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin to play a key role. For the uninitiated, Varun is known for his performance in shows like Diya Aur Baati Hum, Nia Sharma's Kaali - Ek Agnipariksha, Tejasswi Prakash's Kaali - Ek Agnipariksha, etc. However, an official announcement in this regard is yet to be made. Meanwhile, media reports suggest that Kaveri Priyam, Pallavi Pradhan and Sagar Saini will also be becoming a part of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

Earlier, Shakti Arora reacted to the news of the leap in the show and stated that not just him but the entire cast was disturbed by the news. "It has always happened to me. I have been surprisingly told about my show's closure and leaps. However, I have been around in the industry for a while now and I can understand the decisions taken by the people incharge. When I received calls from media regarding leaps, I got an intuition that it will happen and thus I was prepared. When it was announced, everyone was disturbed. The entire Bhosale family will exit, so everyone was a little low. However, I have come to believe that that's what life is," he was quoted saying to Pinkvilla.
