Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma starrer has remained in the headlines ever since rumours about the show taking a leap were leaked online. Producer Rajesh Ram Singh even denied the speculations about the 'time jump' and Shakti Arora's replacement. However, his claims turned out to be wrong.

Shakti Arora has been replaced in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin as the makers believe that there is nothing left to 'explore in Savi and Ishaan's love story'. While the Silsila actor has made an exit, Bhavika Sharma has been retained in the serial.

GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN CAST AFTER LEAP

After keeping the audience waiting, the channel released a promo to confirm that the show will take a seven-year leap. Hitesh Bharadwaj has replaced Shakti Arora as the new male lead. He will be joined by the likes of Amarya Khanna, Varun Jain, Anuj Khanna and Kaveri Priyam in the romantic drama.

"The Udaariyaan actor fits the bill perfectly for the new hero. We liked his audition as he nailed it completely. He also looks good when paired with Bhavika Sharma. So, we decided to go ahead with the casting," a source earlier told Filmibeat.

Before the leap, Savi aspired to become an IAS officer and she even enrolled herself to prepare for Civil Services. However, she has joined the teaching profession after the leap. Is Savi on a mission? Why Savi became a teacher after the leap in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

Talking about the same, she told India Forums, "The show is now bringing its viewers a new journey, a seven-year leap in which the audience will see a new avatar of Savi, who has now become a teacher."

Following Ishaan's death, Savi has become more patient than before. She has become more balanced and patient; however, she continues to keep her opinion like she did earlier.

There were rumors that Ayesha Singh might back a comeback to Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Mein to shield Savi and protect her from Bhanwar Patil. However, there seems to be no truth to the conjecture.
