Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin leap: There has been a lot of buzz over Shakti Arora's exit from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein. While the on-screen drama has captivated the interest of the audience, the constant conjecture over Shakti leaving the serial has made headlines.

Gossip mills claimed that the makers will retain Bhavika while other actors will move out of the show. Names of Harshad Chopda and Abhishek Nigam even started floating on the internet as probable replacements for the male lead.

"While reports suggested that Shakti Arora's contract was said to be the reason behind the leap, the drop in TRPs also played a significant role in the decision. It was said that the makers decided to bring the leap after the show suffered a decrease in ratings due to clash with IPL 2024. The budget issues were also considered while taking the drastic decision. Considering the salary of the lead actors, the makers thought of trimming down the cost by bringing a fresher face opposite Bhavika. Shakti charges a bomb for the show and hence, the production costs were introduced to bring down the total expenditure," a source exclusively told Filmibeat.

SHAKTI ARORA REACTS ON HIS EXIT, REVEALS IF GHUM HAI IS TAKING LEAP

Shakti Arora, while talking to a portal, opened about the rumours over his exit from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. He said that no final call has been taken regarding the leap and he will accept the decision with open heart.

When asked about the leap and his exit, Shakti told TellyExpress, "It depends on whether I am there or not, and if I am there, what am I doing? The production house is yet to decide whether to take leap or not."

The makers have remained tight-lipped about the leap but the rumour mills have claimed that a 10-year time jump is on the cards in the serial.
