Shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Pandya Store, Imlie, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Kundali Bhagya, Kumkum Bhagya, Udaariyaan have taken a leap in the last two years.

After weeks of speculations, the cat is finally out of the bag. Shakti Arora, who plays the role of Ishaan in GHKPM, is getting replaced. He will soon bid adieu to the romantic drama as his character will die in a bomb blast.

Shakti will shoot for his last episode on June 18, marking the end of his character. The channel and the production house remained tight-lipped about the development. Even when there were speculations about the replacement, producer Rajesh Ram Singh denied the buzz and said that Shakti is not leaving the show.

While the Silsila actor will leave the serial, Bhavika Sharma has been retained as the female lead. She will be joined by several new actors.

Hitesh Bharadwaj, Kaveri Priyam, Varun Jain have been confirmed to join Bhavika Sharma's show after the leap is introduced. Filmibeat was the first portal to inform about Hitesh getting finalised as the new hero of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

"The Udaariyaan actor fits the bill perfectly for the new hero. We liked his audition as he nailed it completely. He also looks good when paired with Bhavika Sharma. So, we decided to go ahead with the casting," a source exclusively told Filmibeat.

Kaveri Priyam, who was seen in Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma starrer Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, will play the parallel lead in Ghum Hai serial. She will be joined by Diya Aur Baati Hum fame Varun Jain.

Karanvir Bohra has already joined the cast as the new villain while Manasi Salvi has made her return as Isha.
