Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin new cast after leap: The cat is finally out of the bag. After weeks of speculations, it has been confirmed that GHKPM is taking a leap. While the channel and the production house tried their best to keep things under the wraps, the rumours have turned out to be true.

SHAKTI ARORA TO LEAVE GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN

Rajesh Ram Singh earlier denied the buzz about the leap, stating that the creative team has not made such plans. However, gossip mills continued to suggest that the makers would take a 10-year leap following which Shakti Arora would make an exit from the show. While the production house has retained Bhavika Sharma, Manasi Salvi, Ankita Khare, other actors are bidding adieu to the serial.

The makers had refrained from speaking about the leap rumour due to the fan backlash and even thought of changing the decision. However, the leap is now confirmed.

A source earlier told Filmibeat, "After seeing the backlash, the channel and the production house decided to call off the leap idea. Yes, leap was discussed and the auditions also started; however, the fans' reaction and leak of leap news forced the executives to change the decision."

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin lead Shakti Arora will no longer be seen in the show as he will be replaced with a new hero. Nirmit Kaur Ahluwalia's Choti Sarrdaarni co-star Hitesh Bharadwaj has been reportedly locked to play the new male lead.

"Hitesh aced the audition test and seemed the perfect choice for the role. He will be seen in a different role in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Shakti Arora will shoot for his last episode in the upcoming days. Viewers to wait and watch for the mega twist in the show that will keep them on the edge of their seats," a source earlier told Filmibeat.

RICHA RATHORE APPROACHED FOR GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN

Aapki Nazaron Ne Samjha fame Richa Rathod, who was last seen in Rabb Se Hai Dua, has been approached to play the parallel lead in GHKPM. Interestingly, Neerja lead Aastha Sharma is also in the contention to join Bhavika Sharma's show as the new parallel lead, who will be a part of the love triangle.
