There has been a buzz that Shakti Arora will leave the serial as the makers have plans to bump off his character. It is being said that Bhavika Sharma will be retained while other actors will make an exit from the hit serial.

It was said that the makers decided to bring the leap after the show suffered a decrease in ratings due to clash with IPL 2024. When asked to comment about the viral video with Bhavika, Abhishek said that he auditioned for Ghum Hai in 2023; however, the deal didn't happen. He said that it is his job to try out different roles as an actor but the final decision lies with the production house.
