The handsome actor will shoot for his last episode on June 18 as the makers will wrap up his sequence in the hit romantic drama. While Bhavika Sharma has been retained, Shakti and other actors will bid adieu to the show.

Interestingly, the producer earlier squashed the rumours of a leap and maintained that Shakti was not leaving the show. Rajesh Ram Singh stated that the Silsila actor would continue to feature in GHKPM; however, he later changed the decision and introduced a leap in the storyline.
