Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin Update: Cockrow Entertainment and Shaika Films have been producing the Star Plus show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, which has been captivating viewers since its debut in 2020. This top-rated show underwent a generation leap last year, with Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma stepping in as the new main protagonists, succeeding Neil Bhatt and Ayesha Singh.
ISHAAN & SAVI WEDDING TWIST IN GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN
After an initial struggle, the new generation of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin eventually won hearts of the loyal viewers who are now shipping the new lead couple Ishaan (Shakti Arora) and Savi (Bhavika Sharma) as IshVi. The current track of GHKKPM revolves around the much-awaited wedding of Ishaan and Savi.
As shown in in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Ishaan forcibly gets married to Savi as he feels that Savi's family members lost their lives due to him and considers her as his responsibility. To keep her safe, Ishaan marries Savi leaving the show's fans elated. Though the track seems illogical to some people, it is fetching a good response.
In a recent interview, Shakti Arora opened up about IshVi wedding track and told ETimes, "Viewers like to watch the lead couple uniting. They do want Ishaan and Savi to get married and that's why this track has worked. In fact, initially I was not certain if people would accept such a track but later I figured that sometimes it is okay to surrender to the creative team. I am glad that my character Ishaan has connected with the viewers."
SHAKTI ARORA ON SIMILARITIES BETWEEN GHKKPM & YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI
Interestingly, a section of netizens are claiming similarities between Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai storyline. For those who aren't aware, Armaan (Shehzada Dhami) also got married to Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) in YRKKH for her safety as he promised her dying mother Akshara that he'll take care of her daughter.
Reacting to the claims of similarities with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Shakti added, "I have been shooting seven days a week so haven't found time to watch the show. But, I do believe that viewers like watching such love triangles and a guy who will give up on everything to follow his duty. It is entertainment at the end of the day."
