Shakti Arora Reason To Exit Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Star Plus' popular show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, which has won millions of hearts with its impressive start cast and intriguing storyline, is all over the headlines today. After all, the popular family drama is all set to witness a major change in the lead cast. It is reported that Shakti Arora, who is playing the lead role in the show, has quit Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. According to media reports, the actor took the big decision owing to the reports of a leap in the show.

While the reports of Shakti's exit has left the fans heartbroken, the actor has finally opened up about his exit from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and said that Savi and Ishaan's love story was not unexplored in the show. "Along with audiences, I was also waiting for Savi and Ishaan to fall in love and I was looking forward to their dramatic love-story. We would often discuss about how they're always fighting and there wasn't any romance. In my tenure of one year, I have hardly shot for four to five romantic scenes. I was told that more than romance, nok-jhok works for the show. I was OK with it too, because we were getting numbers," Shakti told Pinkvilla.

He further stated that the monotonous and stagnant plot became the reason for the dropping TRP for the show. " I guess with time, it became monotonous and stagnant. The numbers started to fall. I believe, romance was the only thing that was missing from the show. If we would've worked around the same, the numbers might have improved. I think, we had a decent run. We were at the number one spot for more than three months and post that we've been on number second spot in the TRP list. We've always been in top 5," Shakti added.

Meanwhile, it is reported that Hitesh Bharadwaj will be seen playing the new lead of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. On the other hand, the media reports also suggest that Bhavika Sharma, Manasi Salvi and Indraneel Bhattacharya have been retained in the show post the leap.
