Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin update: It's difficult to imagine Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein without Shakti Arora. Although the Silsila actor played the lead role in the show for only a year but he left a strong impact on the audience with his impressive performance. Fans have been upset over his exit from the romantic drama.

The channel and the production house remained tight-lipped about the leap even when gossip mills suggested that GHKPM was heading towards a track change. After several weeks of speculations, the channel unveiled a promo featuring Hitesh Bharadwaj and Bhavika Sharma to announce the leap in the show.

As the makers believed there was nothing interesting left to explore in IshVi's story, they went ahead with the leap. As a result of the time jump, Ishaan's character was bumped off and Shakti Arora had to leave the romantic drama. Interestingly, Bhavika Sharma was retained as the female lead while Shakti bid adieu to the audience.

"Hitesh Bharadwaj fits the bill perfectly for the role that we have envisioned. He will take over the charge from Shakti Arora. Hitesh and Bhavika looked compatible in the promo that we shot and their chemistry was also scorching. We are hopeful GHKPM will rise to new heights after the seven-year leap," a source from the production house exclusively told Filmibeat.

Hitesh has replaced Shakti Arora as the new male lead of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. His entry aired on June 19 on Star Plus. He has joined the show along with Amarya Khanna and Kaveri Priyam.

SHAKTI ARORA REVEALS HE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT ISHAAN FROM GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN

Wondering what Shakti Arora said in his post-exit interview from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. When asked to reveal the reason he decided to take up the show, he shared an interesting revelation.

Shakti said that he didn't know much about Ishaan before. He added that he just knew he was going to wok with Rajesh Ram Singh, who is the producer of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

"I felt everything to him. Later, I kept creating a graph of that role and tried my best to bring the best out of that role," Shakti Arora told TellyExpress.
