Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin Twist: GHKPM has remained in the headlines after the rumours about the leap surfaced on the internet. After several weeks of speculations, it has been confirmed that the show will witness a time jump. Shakti Arora, who plays the role of Ishaan, will be making an exit from the romantic drama.

WHY IS SHAKTI ARORA GETTING REPLACED IN GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN?

As the makers are taking a leap, they have decided to replace Shakti Arora as the male lead. While they have citing leap as the reason, gossip mills suggested that budget is also a prime reason behind the sudden decision to introduce a leap track in the storyline.

Interestingly, earlier Rajesh Ram Singh denied the rumours about the leap. He clarified that the production house was not replacing Shakti as the lead; however, the production house later started the auditions for the male lead.

Choti Sarrdaarni fame Hitesh Bharadwaj has been confirmed as the new hero of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. The Udaariyaan star has already shot the promo with Bhavika Sharma and it is expected to release soon.

"Hitesh aced the audition test and seemed the perfect choice for the role. He will be seen in a different role in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Shakti Arora will shoot for his last episode in the upcoming days. Viewers to wait and watch for the mega twist in the show that will keep them on the edge of their seats," the khabri earlier told Filmibeat.

ARHAAN BEHL, PARAM SINGH WERE APPROACHED FOR GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN

According to Gossip TV, the makes approached two popular TV actors to replace Shakti Arora as the new male lead. The official Twitter handle of Gossip TV tweeted, "#ArhanBehl and #ParamSingh were also approached to play the lead in #GhumHaiKisikeyPyaarMeiin post leap, however things didn't work and at last #HiteshBhardwaj finalized as new male lead in the show (sic)."

Things didn't work between the two concerned parties and finally, Hitesh Bharadwaj came into the picture.
