Earlier, Rajesh Ram Singh denied the conjecture over Shakti Arora's replacement following the leap. He refuted the rumours about a leap, stating that the makers are thinking to replace Arora as the male lead. However, the speculations turned out to be true.

While Bhavika Sharma has been retained, Shakti Arora will be moving out from the show. The Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi actor has confirmed his exit from the romantic drama. He has already shot for the wedding promo and special sequence.

Although the channel and the production house are tight-lipped about the development, gossip mills have confirmed that Hitesh Bharadwaj has been finalised as the new lead of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

"The Udaariyaan actor fits the bill perfectly for the new hero. We liked his audition as he nailed it completely. He also looks good when paired with Bhavika Sharma. So, we decided to go ahead with the casting," a source exclusively told Filmibeat.

ANKIT GUPTA CO-STAR TO RETURN TO GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN

Ankit Gupta's Junooniyatt co-star has confirmed her re-entry in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Manasi Salvi, who played the role of Isha in GHKPM, is all set to make a return to the show. Yes, you read that right!

The actress confirmed her return through her Instagram post. Her entry will air next week on Star Plus.

She captioned her post as, "Love Right Back. So much Love..So many Blessings & So much Patience..

Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma will soon shoot for their last scene together in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Arora is expected to wrap up the shoot for his final episode on June 18 as the leap will go on in the last week of June 2024.
