Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin twist: A lot has changed in Star Plus' Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein after the leap. In a major development, the makers introduced a leap to spice up the ratings as they reportedly felt that Ishaan and Savi's love story didn't have much potential to explore.

Shakti Arora's track came to an end as his character Ishaan was bumped off. The Kundali Bhagya actor bid adieu to GHKPM as the makers killed his character while retaining Savi (Bhavika Sharma) as the female lead.

Hitesh Bharadwaj has been confirmed as the new male lead of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Star Plus introduced him as the new hero by sharing a promo where Rajat and Savi were seen coming face-to-face.

Earlier our khabri told Filmibeat, "Hitesh Bharadwaj fits the bill perfectly for the role that we have envisioned. He will take over the charge from Shakti Arora. Hitesh and Bhavika looked compatible in the promo that we shot and their chemistry was also scorching. We are hopeful GHKPM will rise to new heights after the seven-year leap."

Hitesh will be joined by Kaveri Priyam, Ankit Arora, Amarya Khanna, Anuj Khanna and Varun Jain in GHKPM. The new actors have already started the shoot for the serial.

HOW WILL SAVI-RAJAT MEET EACH OTHER IN GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN?

Wondering how will Rajat and Savi meet each other for the first time? Hitesh spilled the beans about the same in a recent interview. He said that Savi and Rajat will have their first meeting but not have a 'proper encounter'. However, he maintained that Savi and Rajat will get to know about each other's existence.

"Ye ek aisi mulakat hai, jaha dono ek dusre se mil nahi paate aur mulakat hote hue bhi mulakat nhi ho pati. Ek khubsurrat ka scene hai jo aapk dekhege to aapko acha lagega. Dono ko ek dusre ke hone ka ehsaas hoga, yahi scene ke main point hai," Hitesh told Sas Bahu Aur Betiyaan.

Ayesha Singh and Neil Bhatt originally played the lead roles in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
