Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has remained in the headlines ever since it was revealed that a time jump was on the cards in the show. While the production house and the channel remained tight-lipped about the same, speculations became rife about the exit of Shakti Arora from the show.

Producer Rajesh Ram Singh earlier squashed the conjecture about the leap and Shakti Arora's departure, adding that he had no plans to replace the actor. He gave the interview following the fan backlash on social media. While Bhavika Sharma has been retained, several actors including Shakti are said to be leaving the show.

Shakti will wrap up the shoot for his last episode in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin on June 18. While his final sequence will air later this month, Hitesh Bharadwaj has been confirmed to make his appearance soon.

"Hitesh aced the audition test and seemed the perfect choice for the role. He will be seen in a different role in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Shakti Arora will shoot for his last episode in the upcoming days. Viewers to wait and watch for the mega twist in the show that will keep them on the edge of their seats," a source close to the show told Filmibeat.

When we contacted a reliable source to know about the promo release date, he quipped, "Bhavika Sharma and Hitesh Bharadwaj have been filmed the promo for the new episode. It will have a different flavour, introducing the new storyline of the show. The new promo will be unveiled later this week, marking the beginning of season three."
