The channel and the production house remained tight-lipped about the leap but it has been confirmed that Shakti Arora is making an exit from the show. The talented actor will bid adieu to the romantic drama as the makers are introducing another leap.

Earlier, producer Rajesh Singh squashed the speculations about a leap. However, the creative team has decided to change the storyline by introducing a new male lead. Hitesh Bharadwaj has been confirmed to replace Shakti Arora as the new hero of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

"The Udaariyaan actor fits the bill perfectly for the new hero. We liked his audition as he nailed it completely. He also looks good when paired with Bhavika Sharma. So, we decided to go ahead with the casting," a source exclusively told Filmibeat.

The Choti Sarrdaarni actor will be joined by Varun Jain (Diya Aur Baati Hum), Anuj Khanna (Naagin 6), Kaveri Priyam (Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke) following the leap. A few actors including Bhavika Sharma have been retained by the production house.

The official Instagram handle of Star Plus released an interesting promo to drop a hint about the upcoming track. It hinted at Ishaan and Savi's separation amid their wedding festitivies.

Bhavika Sharma shared a heartfelt message for the Ishvi fans, who are disappointed with the leap. She said that she is grateful and blessed to play the role of Savi in Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Mein.

"Savi is a strong-headed and independent woman; she has her own thinking and voices her opinions. This one year of portraying Savi has been one-of-a-kind, and with each new day comes new learning. While portraying Savi, I have given heart and soul, and the fans have resonated with Savi. The reunion and reconciliation are a gift for all the Ishvi fans. I am thankful and grateful for Ishvi fans who have showered with love, appreciation, and applause," Bhavika said in a statement as quoted as saying by India Forums.
