Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin twist: Shakti Arora's departure from Star Plus' hit show has left the ardent viewers upset. In a major development, the makers introduced a leap and changed the track of the show. Shakti Arora's character (Ishaan) has been bumped off from the show while Bhavika Sharma has been retained.

GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN NEW CAST AFTER LEAP

The official Instagram handle of Star Plus released a promotional promo to announce the entry of Hitesh Bharadwaj as the new male lead of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. He took over the charge from Shakti Arora, replacing him as the new hero of GHKPM.

While fans have given a mixed response to Bhavika Sharma and Hitesh Bharadwaj's chemistry, the makers are hopeful that the show will increase its ratings after the leap track settles down.

Earlier a source told Filmibeat, "Hitesh Bharadwaj fits the bill perfectly for the role that we have envisioned. He will take over the charge from Shakti Arora. Hitesh and Bhavika looked compatible in the promo that we shot and their chemistry was also scorching. We are hopeful GHKPM will rise to new heights after the seven-year leap."

While Hitesh Bharadwaj is playing the role of Rajat, the likes of Kaveri Priyam, Amarya Khanna, Varun Jain and Anuj Khanna have also joined the show following the leap.

If the recent buzz is to be believed, the makers have finalised a popular TV actor to join the show. Guess what? Gaurav Khanna's Chandrakanta co-star has been locked to play a key role in the romantic drama.

We are talking about Ankit Arora. The handsome hunk, who played the role of Crown Prince Shivdutt in Gaurav Khanna and Kritika Kamra's Prem Ya Paheli - Chandrakanta, has been confirmed as the new entry in GHKPM. He is playing the role of Ansh Gujral, who is paired opposite Kaveri Priyam.

The actor shot to fame after essaying the role of Lakshman in NDTV Imagine's Ramayan in 2008. He will be seen in a different avatar in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
