Filmibeat has been sharing regular updates about the upcoming twist in the serial. Amid rumours of a leap, the creative team has decided to introduce a new character. Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma's show will soon witness a new entry, who will change the dynamics between the characters.

Harshad Chopda's co-star will make a grand entry in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. We are talking about Karanvir Bohra, who was seen as Viraj as Saubhagyavati Bhava.

"The makers have planned to spice up the drama by introducing a new character. It will be a cameo role for Karanvir Bohra. Having played iconic characters like Virat and Prem, he fits the bill perfectly for the show. Considering his acting prowess and willingness to experiment with role, the makers found him the right actor for an important role."

WILL SHAKTI ARORA LEAVE GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN?

There are strong rumours that Shakti Arora might bid adieu to the show along with the other actors excluding Bhavika Sharma.

"While reports suggested that Shakti Arora's contract was said to be the reason behind the leap, the drop in TRPs also played a significant role in the decision. It was said that the makers decided to bring the leap after the show suffered a decrease in ratings due to clash with IPL 2024. The budget issues were also considered while taking the drastic decision. Considering the salary of the lead actors, the makers thought of trimming down the cost by bringing a fresher face opposite Bhavika. Shakti charges a bomb for the show and hence, the production costs were introduced to bring down the total expenditure," our khabri told Filmibeat.

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar was launched in October 2020 at 8pm. The show started with Ayesha Singh, Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma in lead roles. They were a part of the show for close to three years. Last year, the makers introduced a generation leap to spice up the drama. Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma took charge from Ayesha and Neil as they started playing the main leads.
