Something similar is happening in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein as the makers are all set to spice up the drama by taking a leap.

Producer Rajesh Ram Singh earlier denied the buzz about the leap and stated that he is not replacing Shakti Arora from the show. A source told Filmibeat back then, "The rumours are true and the production house took a U-turn after noticing the fan backlash. A leap is on the cards and the creative team is tight-lipped about the same."

The speculations about the leap grabbed several eyeballs. Gossip mills suggested that Bhavika Sharma has been retained while other actors including Shakti Arora will make an exit. Both production house and channel refrained from making an official statement about the same. However, the leap news turned out to be true.

After several weeks of speculation, Hitesh Bharadwaj was confirmed as the new male lead of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. The Choti Sarrdaarni actor has already shot for a promo for GHKPM along with Bhavika Sharma. It is expected to be released later this week. Yes, you read that right!

"Hitesh aced the audition test and seemed the perfect choice for the role. He will be seen in a different role in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Shakti Arora will shoot for his last episode in the upcoming days. Viewers to wait and watch for the mega twist in the show that will keep them on the edge of their seats," the khabri earlier told Filmibeat.

Interestingly, names like Harshad Chopda were floating on the internet as probable replacement for Shakti Arora. Filmibeat had refuted the rumour back then itself.

Param Singh, who is known for his role of Sadda Haq, was actually approached for GHKPM to replace Shakti Arora.
