Filmibeat earlier revealed that Hitesh Bharadwaj has signed the dotted lines for Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. The Choti Sarrdaarni actor has already shot a promo with Bhavika Sharma. The promo is expected to be released later this week during the Ishvi's wedding celebrations.

"The Udaariyaan actor fits the bill perfectly for the new hero. We liked his audition as he nailed it completely. He also looks good when paired with Bhavika Sharma. So, we decided to go ahead with the casting," a source exclusively told Filmibeat.

Kaveri Priyam, who was seen in Shaheer Sheikh's Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, has been finalised as the parallel lead.

Amid the hullabaloo over the leap, Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma's co-star has confirmed her return to the show. Remember Manasi Salvi who played the role of Isha Bhosale? She will soon re-enter Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin?

When asked to reveal the truth behind her absence, Manasi told India Forums, "No, there was a deliberate break in the story because the story had to move in a particular way, so there is no animosity."

The actress' comment ended the speculations about tiff with the production house. She said that she has started the shoot for the show from Saturday (June 8) and her entry will air in the upcoming days on Star Plus.

While Shakti Arora will make an exit from the show, Bhavika Sharma has been retained. The current focus is on Ishaan and Savi's wedding as the makers want to showcase their love story for the last time. Will Ishaan and Savi get married or will they die together?
