Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin Twist: Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma starrer GHKPM has been making waves ever since the rumours about a leap surfaced on the internet. The channel and the production house have remained tight-lipped about the development but gossip mills have continued to churn out stories about the upcoming leap.

It was earlier said that the makers have decided to retain Bhavika Sharma while Shakti Arora might leave the show. Producer Rajesh Ram Singh even refuted the rumors about the leap and said that he has no plans to replace Shakti. However, the rumour turned out to be true.

Amid the buzz over the leap, Filmibeat confirmed that Hitesh Bharadwaj has been finalised as the new male lead of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. The Choti Sarrdaarni actor has already shot for a promo for the romantic drama. Yes, you read that right!

"Hitesh aced the audition test and seemed the perfect choice for the role. He will be seen in a different role in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Shakti Arora will shoot for his last episode in the upcoming days. Viewers to wait and watch for the mega twist in the show that will keep them on the edge of their seats," a source told Filmibeat.

According to a report in Times Of India, the makers believed that 'there was not much story' left for them to explore and hence, they decided to replace the cast. Interestingly, both Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma are expected to make an exit from the show.

The report added that the show was performing well when Neil Bhatt and Ayesha Singh played the lead roles. The TRPs dropped and even after the twists and turns, the production house felt that there was 'nothing much to explore' in Ishaan-Savi's story.

When India Forums asked her about the leap, Bhavika Sharma broke her silence and said that she is not aware about any plans. She said that she has no idea about the leap and was not notified about the same.
