After weeks of speculations, the producer confirmed that they are neither taking a leap nor replacing Shakti Arora as the lead of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Producer Rajesh Ram Singh refuted the rumors of a leap, adding that they have no plans to replace Shakti, specially when he is doing so well for the show.

Interestingly, earlier a source informed Filmibeat, "After seeing the backlash, the channel and the production house decided to call off the leap idea.
