Rubina Dilaik Comeback Post Motherhood: Happily-married TV couple Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla celebrated a significant milestone on November 27 last year as they welcomed twin daughters into their lives. Later, in December, they shared the first glimpses of their adorable babies and revealed their names to the world - Jeeva and Edhaa. Since then, the actress has been away from work and is busy taking care of her little munchkins.
In a recent vlog on the YouTube channel of Mr. Faisu, the popular social media star, Rubina Dilaik opened up about several aspects of her life and career.
RUBINA DILAIK ON CAREER BREAK DUE TO MOTHERHOOD
Known for her role in Chhoti Bahu, Rubina Dilaik is happy being away from showbiz and spending time with her daughters. While she took a maternity hiatus during pregnancy, Mr Faisu asked him if she had bid adieu to the entertainment industry after embracing motherhood. Reacting to it, the Bigg Boss 14 winner stated, "Mere liye television mera bread butter or mera aur mera kya bolte hai mere career ka subhe ka nashtha hai. Mere career ki shuraat hai. Main to television kabhi chhod hi nahi sakti hun. (For me, television is my bread and butter, and what do they say, my career's breakfast. It's the beginning of my career. I can never leave television)."
Rubina also expressed her openness to various platforms, stating, "Mere liye sab barabar hai. Mere liye madhyam zaroori hai. Aur wo koi bhi madhyam ho sakta hai. Madhyam YouTube bhi ho sakta hai, podcast bhi ho sakta hai. Jaha main jaungi apna acha krungi. (Every medium holds equal importance for me. Whether it's YouTube, podcasts, or any other medium, I will strive to excel wherever I go)"
In her recent vlog, Rubina disclosed that she had pledged to herself to resume work within three months after giving birth, as she was preparing for a photoshoot. Remarkably, she fulfilled this self-made commitment by returning to work and completing a photoshoot just 55 days post-delivery. The actress diligently worked on her physique to regain her pre-pregnancy shape.
RUBINA DILAIK UPCOMING PROJECTS
On the career front, Rubina Dilaik will next be seen making her debut in Punjabi cinema with the film Chal Bhajj Chaliye. On the vlog with Faisal, the actress revealed that her movie will hit the theatres in April this year.
