Exclusive! Heeramandi Actor Shekhar Suman Reveals Dekh Bhai Dekh Season 2 Might Happen Soon

Dekh Bhai Dekh Season 2: In 1993, a show titled Dekh Bhai Dekh started airing on DD Metro. It ran for more than a year, and was loved by one and all. The show starred Shekhar Suman, Navin Nischol, Farida Jalal, Bhavana Balsavar, Deven Bhojani, Sushma Seth, and others. Recently, Shekhar Suman and Farida Jalal starred together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi, but they don't have any scenes together. However, the two were there at the premiere of the series.

Filmibeat recently interacted with Shekhar Suman and when asked him about the Dekh Bhai Dekh reunion, and if he met Farida Jalal at the premiere, the actor said, "Yes, I met her. I asked her how's her health. It's been 30 years, and whenever I meet any other actors from the show, it comes in front of me like a reel; how Dekh Bhai Dekh was made, how we used to shoot everyday and we became like a family. Whenever I see Farida ji, her dialogues 'ae ji, o ji, suniye ji' comes to my mind. We miss Navin Nischol, he is not there anymore. But, with the rest of the family, we do sometimes have reunions. But, it is such a delight to meet Farida Ji."

"In the premiere, there's a lot of rush. But, we took out sometime and spoke to each other. I told her that there's no sureity, but maybe Dekh Bhai Dekh will happen again soon. So, she got excited and asked me, 'when?'. I told her she only has to do it, and she said, 'of course, I will do it, who else will do it?'. So, I was so excited that she is up for it, and we excited, and I am trying that it happens. There are talks with a prodiction house and if everything goes well people will get to watch the show soon," he added.
