Imlie Off Air Reason: Star Plus' popular show Imlie, featuring Sai Ketan Rao and Adrija Roy in the lead, is making the headlines for the most heartbreaking news. It is reported that Imlie is going off air soon and the news has left the fans quite heartbroken. Reportedly, Imlie is going off air after ruling hearts for four years. And while the new about the show's end is confirmed, there have been speculations about why Imlie is pulling its curtains down.

So far there have been speculations about Imlie going off air due to TRP issues. And now, Sai Ketan Rao, who plays the role of Agasthya Singh and Suraj in the show, has spilled the beans about what went wrong which had led to Imlie going off air soon. During his recent interaction with ETimes TV, Sai reveals that people found it difficult to come to terms with Agasthya's demise in the show.

"I really don't know, maybe the TRP game wasn't happening. There are so many shows which have unique concepts and people are invested in them. There are such shows as well which don't have that great making but are the top. It's the game of TRP, sometimes it is destiny as well. I also think the audience couldn't digest Agasthya's death in the show, so that did witness a decline in viewership," he was quoted saying.

According to media reports, Imlie will reportedly be replaced by Ankit Gupta and Rutuja Bagwe starrer Maati Se Bandhi Dor. Talking about it, Sai told Bollywood Life, "I am not fully aware which show is replacing 'Imlie' as you know there are many changes at the end moment. However, if the said show (Maati Se Bandhi Dor) is truly replacing 'Imlie,' I wish the entire cast and crew all the best."

To note, Maati Se Bandhi Dor is likely to get the prime time slot of 8:30 pm on Star Plus. However, the exact premiere date of Maati Se Bandhi Dor is yet to be announced by the makers.
