A source close to the show exclusively told Filmibeat, "Indian Idol 14 is inching closer towards its grand finale. The makers don't want to leave any stone unturned to make it a grand affair. They have planned to take things a notch higher in the new season. From never-before-seen performances to special guests, they have planned different twists to spice up the entertainment quotient."

Ananya Pal, Anjana Padmanabhan, Adya Mishra, Dipan Mitra, Obom Tangu, Piyush Panwar, Subhadeep Das, Vaibhav Gupta have advanced to the next stage of the game. One of them will bid adieu to the show in the elimination episode. As of now, there are mumours that no elimination will happen this weekend. However, things can change at any given point of time.

Sukwinder Singh was the latest guest to make an appearance on the show. He lauded Vaibhav Gupta's performance. "He sang with such joy (Mauj mein gaya)," the singer quipped. Showcasing his respect for his idol, Sukhwinder Singh, Vaibhav Guptan decided to take off his shoes before coming to the stage.
