Is Jheel Mehta Making A Comeback On Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah? Here’s The Truth

SAB TV's popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been ruling the television screens for over 15 years now and it has managed to win millions of hearts. And now, the show is making headlines as there are reports about Jheel Mehta making a comeback on TMKOC. For the uninitiated, Jheel was seen playing the role of Sonu on the show and became a household name with her stint on the show.

And while it is reported that she might return on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Jheel has confirmed that she will not be returning to the show and is happy with her business. In her vlog, Jheel stated, "I have been asked this question the most. But let me just tell everybody, no, I will not. Being on TV was something I wanted to do as a child. And I fulfilled that dream of mine after which I was focusing on my studies. And now I'm into business and that is what I am planning".

Meanwhile, Jheel also cleared the air about her being fired from the show owing to her height and said, "Oh my God, the number of people who think that I was fired because of my height from the show is just outrageous. One, I was not fired from the show and two, I quit the show because I had to focus on my studies. I just wanted to focus on my studies. Why is it so difficult for people to understand that? I don't get it".

She also revealed the real reason for quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and said, "I left Taarak Mehta because I was in 10th standard and as you know, we have these board exams. I needed to prepare for them and which is why I decided to leave the show".
