The TV diva has been making waves on the small screen ever since she played the lead role in Begusarai. After her stint in the show ended, she auditioned for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and immediately bagged the role of Naira.

Taking the charge from Hina Khan and Karan Mehra on her shoulder, the actress carried the legacy of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Her sizzling chemistry with co-star Mohsin Khan grabbed several eyeballs for the daily soap, making it one of the most-watched properties across all the channels.

Yesterday, the Balika Vadhu 2 actress shared a series of photos, where she was seen flaunting her engagement ring. The Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 star sparked rumours about her engagement. Fans flooded her comments section with seeing the caption for the post. They assumed that Shivangi Joshi got engaged.

Before you also start believing that Shivangi flaunted her engagement ring, we have to stop you right there. It was a promotional post and she has not exchanged rings with her boyfriend. Eoching the thoughts of her fans, one user wrote, "For a second i thought you got engaged".

Another user commented, "Hamhe dara diya. Mujhe laga aapki engagement hogyi hai."

Shivangi is currently seen in Barsatein-Mausam Pyaar Ka. The show co-starring Kushal Tandon is ending this week on Sony Entertainment Television due to low TRPs.

Last month, the team wrapped up the shoot of the serial. Sharing a note after completing the shoot for last episode, Shivangi wrote, "Today we conclude this beautiful journey, our last shoot day for Barsaatein, a show that will always remain close to our heart. We are grateful for every cast and crew member who came together to make the magic happen and most importantly all of you, bas yunhi aapke pyaar ki barsaatein hamesha barkaraar rahe. Thankyou @therealkushaltandon for being an incredible partner in this journey."

When asked why Barsatein is going off air, a source exclusively informed Filmibeat, "Barsatein was supposed to be a major changer for Sony TV. The channel was confident about the show as it was bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor, who delivered Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 for them. However, the show lost steam within a few months and hence, the makers decided to end it rather than dragging it. Shivangi and Kushal's chemistry worked for the show but the numbers never saw a huge rise due to the tracks. Hence, they thought of pulling the plug on the show within seven months."
