Yeh Hai Chahatein: A lot has been written and said about Yeh Hai Chahatein ever since the TRP ratings dropped. Gossip mills have been buzzing with the rumours that Star Plus has introduced a few changes to revamp the story and bring more eyeballs.

While the production house has refrained from commenting about the show, speculations are rife that Star Plus has decided to slash the budget of the show by half. Yes, you read that right!

According to a report in TellyExpres, the channel has also changed the timings of Yeh Hai Chahatein from 11pm to 11.15pm. The delay in airing has severely impacted the viewership of the daily soap.

"Star Plus has several shows lined up in the upcoming months. Teri Meri Doriyaann is under the scanner as the channel is monitoring the ratings of the show. Yeh Hai Chahatein is performing well at the 11pm slot but the programming team is expecting the drama to garner at least a TVR of 1.4. YHC is not under the scanner but there are chances that the show might face the axe if ratings drop," a source earlier told Filmibeat.

Shagun Sharma, who plays the female lead in Yeh Hai Chahatein, opened up about the rumours of the show going off air. She expressed her concern over the conjecture surrounding YHC and said that the actors are the last to know about such developments.

The Sasural Genda Phool 2 actress said that she doesn't bother about the ratings as she prefers to focus on her work. Reacting to rumours about Yeh Hai Chahatein ending, she said that she would be 'disappointed and hurt' if Star Plus ends the show.

"I have heard such off-air rumours since my entry in May last year. I will press the panic button if the channel or production house informs me," Shagun Sharma told TellyExpress.

Shagun Sharma and Pravisht Mishra play the lead roles in Yeh Hai Chahatein, which is the spin-off of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
