Jaideep Singh, who is currently seen as Balbir Singh Bajwa in Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha, believes that mental health is not an exaggerated issue, but a topic that needs utmost attention. Speaking on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, which is observed on October 10, he said, "Mental health has always been an issue that was pushed under the carpet and never openly discussed."

"There is no exaggeration- the more we talk about it, the more awareness we create. There should be no shame in admitting or acknowledging that someone is going through it. Mental pain can be just as real and as painful as physical pain," he added.
He called his mother an epitome of mental strength, and shared that he followed in her footsteps. "I meditate, read books, and surround myself with constructive people. I steer away from negative conversations and individuals," he said.

Jaideep is both an extrovert and an introvert. He said, "I do share my everyday thoughts with my close friends, and I'm lucky to have friends who are just a call away."

Life has its own ups and downs, and it can be overwhelming sometimes. What do you do in those situations? "I'm told I'm good at multitasking, and I know that about myself, but it can get overwhelming. I don't believe in going overboard anymore. It's important to prioritize your physical and mental health above all else," he said.

"The first thing I do is listen to 'Gagan Mein Thaal,' the only Aarti in Sikhism. It gives me strength. To lift my mood, I watch Friends," he ended.
