Jagriti Cast: Zee TV steps outside the usual boundaries with a unique show set in a distinctive world. Set in the fictional town of Mokshgarh in Jharkhand's Jamtara district, the story delves into a society where systemic injustice prevails, marking people as criminals from birth. Denied the right to education, the community is forced into jobs like hunting and subjected to exploitation by feudal lords. Produced by Guroudev Bhalla, Jagriti - Ek Nayi Subah follows the courageous journey of a young girl fighting for her dignity and freedom.

The role of Jagriti will be brought to life by the talented 8-year-old Asmi Deo. Jagriti, despite being born into the Chitta community, refuses to accept the injustices imposed on her people. She is a fearless girl with intense, inquisitive eyes, brimming with energy and compassion. Always questioning the norms accepted by those around her, her candid responses sometimes land her in trouble. Sharp-minded, hopeful, and resilient, Jagriti will challenge the unfair labeling of her community as criminals and strive to envision a future of freedom and justice for everyone in 'Chitta' community
