Jasmin Bhasin has recently suffered corneal damage after a lens mishap. The actress underwent treatment after experiencing excruciating pain in her eyes after she wore lenses for an event. According to reports, the incident happened on July 17 in Delhi, where she wore contact lenses while getting ready for the event.

Talking to ETimes, the Bigg Boss 14 star revealed her eyes started hurting after she wore the lenses. The pain got to the point where she was unable to see anything. However, she wore a sunglasses at the event and completed her work commitment. She also mentioned how the team helped her.

Talking to the daily, the actress shared, "I was in Delhi for an event in July 17, for which I was getting ready. I don't know what was wrong with my lenses, but after I wore them, my eyes started hurting and the pain gradually got worse. I wanted to rush to the doctor, but since it was a work commitment, I decided to attend the event and then go to the doctor."

Later at night, Jasmin rushed to an eye specialist who informed her that her corneas got damaged. The next day, she came back to Mumbai and started her treatment.

"I am experiencing a lot of pain. Doctors have told me that I should recover in the next 4-5 days, but till then, I need to take good care of my eyes. It's not easy because I can't see, and I am struggling to even sleep due to the pain," Jasmin shares her health update.

On the work front, she recently made an appearance in the cookery-based comedy show 'Laughter Chefs'.
