Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11: Sony TV To SCRAP Manisha Rani-Shiv Thakare's Show After FLOP Season?

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11: Sony TV To SCRAP Manisha Rani-Shiv Thakares Show After FLOP Season?

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 last episode: When it comes to reality shows and weekend programming, no channel can beat Sony Entertainment Television. The leading GEC is known for shows like The Kapil Sharma Show, India's Got Talent, Super Singer, India's Best Dancer, Indian Idol which cater to the masses on weekends.

Last year, the channel brought the rights of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 and launched the show on Diwali 2023 to spice up the ratings. Despite the massive promotions and hype, the show has turned out to be a big disappointment. While the social media buzz can be considered good, the TRPs of JDJ 11 signify that the show has failed to strike a chord with the audience.

Shiv Thakare, Tanisha Mukerji, Vivek Dahiya, Anjali Anand, Shoaib Ibrahim- some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry featured in the show. Manisha Rani, and Dhanashree Verma later joined Jhalak 11 as wildcards, setting the stage on fire with their performances.

Fans are expecting Shoaib Ibrahim, Shiv Thakare, Sreeram Chandra, Manisha Rani, Adrija Sinha to become the finalists of the show. Last week, Karuna Pandey was eliminated from the show as she received the lowest votes from the audience.

If the recent buzz is to be believed, Sony TV is not pleased with the numbers of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 and Indian Idol 14 and might scrap the new seasons of the two shows. The conjecture spread like wildfire on the internet, leaving the fans shocked.

Despite the presence of social media sensations Manisha Rani and Shiv Thakare, Jhalak 11 has turned out to be a damp squib. No one is blaming the two celebrities or any of the contestants for the failure of the dance reality show.

According to a report in TellyExoress, the channel is not happy with the dismal performance of its reality shows and has decided to pull the plug on them. The channel has announced the replacement for the two shows- Super Star Singer 3 and Madness Machayenge. Will Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa breathe its last on the small screen? Only time will tell. The show aired on Colors channel from season five to season ten but it saw a drop in viewership and hence, the Viacom 18-owned GEC let go of the show.
