Kanwar Dhillon REACTS To Pandya Store Going Off Air: I Have Disconnected, Felt Bad For...

Pandya Store last episode: At a time when shows go off air within six months, Pandya Store entertained the audience for over three years. The daily soap started with Kinshuk Mahajan and Shiny Doshi and later, Kanwar Dhillon and Alice Kaushik joined them as leads. It performed well in terms of TRPs, grabbing several eyeballs on Star Plus.
Last month, the channel decided to replace Pandya Store with a new show after it witnessed a drop in ratings. As the viewership fell due to competition with IPL 2024, Star Plus introduced a new show at 7:30pm slot. Pandya Store's last episode aired on May 26, leaving the ardent viewers upset.
The Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha actor said that he felt bad after he got to know about the showing ending.
"I have disconnected and I felt bad for the team as so many house run because of the show. Around 30 - 400 people home run because of the show and whenever I meet them I get so much love and support as I have worked for 1 -2 years with the show, but as an actor I know someday that the show will end and I felt bad for the crew," Kanwar told Tellychakkar.
The TV heartthrob called Pandya Store a 'beautiful show', stating that it generated good TRPs for the channel. He also expressed his displeasure over the introduction of leaps in storyline. His interview came at a time when Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin makers are introducing a leap to spice up the drama in the romantic drama starring Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma
On the professional front, Kanwar Dhillon is currently seen in Udne Ki Aasha. The show co-starring Neha Harsora airs on Star Plus from Monday to Sunday. It replaced Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si at 9pm.
