Chander Prakash, who hails from Jammu and Kashmir, created history as he became the first crorepati of KBC season 16. The young lad showcased his knowledge as he graced the Kaun Banega Crorepati 2024 hot seat in front of Amitabh Bachchan. Big B appreciated Chander and Ujjawal (who also attempted the Rs 1 Crore KBC Question in the previous episode).

Amitabh Bachchan praised Chander and said in a statement, "I would like to share with everyone that for the first time in the history of KBC 16, we are witnessing back-to-back contestants attempting the 1 crore question. Your dedication has brought you here, and persistence, as they say, is sometimes the best quality. You've held onto it, and that's why you stand at this significant juncture."

The official Instagram handle of Sony Entertainment Television released a promo to give a glimpse of the new episode. CHANDER PRAKASH ON USING KAUN BANEGA CROREPATI 16 WINNER PRIZE MONEY

The first Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 winner said that he will uliltise the prize money for his treatment and also for the repayment of loans. He added that he will give the amount to his parents, who have sacrificed a lot for him.

"I will give the entire amount to my parents. They have sacrificed a lot for me. I will use the money for my health treatment and financial crisis," Chander told Senior Bachchan.
