A source exclusively told Filmibeat, "KBC usually ends in December last week; however, the channel and the production house have decided to extend the season. Therefore the KBC 16 registration process kickstarted once again. The channel earlier decided to not extend the season due to Amitabh Bachchan's health issues. However, Sony TV went ahead with the extension after considering his health and other factors."

Talking about Tripathi, he works as a Land Recorder Administrative Officer in the Revenue Department. He became the latest KBC 16 contestant to attempt Kaun Banega Crorepati 1 crore question!

In a fun-filled segment, Amitabh Bachchan talked about Deewar and Kabhi Kabhie, revealing that his original clothes have not been returned to him.

"After wrapping up the intense action shoot of Deewar, I had to go to Kashmir to shoot Kabhi Kabhie. It felt so strange, suddenly switching gears. I told Yash Chopra ji, 'It's so weird, from action to romance,' and he said, 'No, no, everything will be fine.' So, I casually asked, 'What will the costumes be like?' since I had to leave in 2 days, and he said, 'Just wear whatever you have at home.' Whatever clothes you see in the film, they are my own.'" Amitabh Bachchan was quoted as saying by India Today in a statement released by Sony TV.

He further added, "Those clothes haven't been returned to me."
