Amid all this, the recent reports suggested that Kavya is finally coming to an end later this month as the channel is headline for a revamp. In a recent interview, lead actress Sumbul has also confirmed the development. Yes, you read that right!

SUMBUL TOUQEER CONFIRMS KAVYA IS GOING OFF-AIR

Confirming the news, Sumbul told ETimes, "The decision was quite sudden, and none of us saw it coming. But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. I am filled with mixed emotions - sadness and disappointment, especially because I was deeply connected to my character."

She added, "Saying goodbye to a role I was so passionate about is never easy. After Bigg Boss 16, the character of Kavya became my new identity, and as artistes, we always strive to break and remake our identities through our characters. However, I understand that this is the nature of the industry - sometimes things don't go as planned."
