Kavya Twist: When Sony Entertainment Television launched Kavya Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon, the industry experts expected the social drama to earn a good response from the audience. The show marked the return of Sumbul Touqeer to the fiction space post her memorable stint in Bigg Boss 16.

Despite the star-studded cast and massive promotions, Kavya failed to live up to the mark. After a good start, the show lost track and couldn't perform as per the expectations. While the makers are busy trying to revive the show with new entries and twist, it won't be wrong to say that Kavya is now a 'lost case'.

Mudit Nayar has confirmed joining the cast of Kavya Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon as the new guy in Kavya's life. He will be seen as Sumbul Touqeer's Love Interest in the Sony TV Show.

Mudit, who was last seen in the Star Plus show Keh Doon Tumhein, spilled his beans on his character. He said that he is playing the role of Vicky, who will be instrumental in changing Kavya's life amid the issues in her personal life.

"I would like to thank the makers for this opportunity of playing such an interesting character, which compelled me to return to TV. Despite being jovial and carefree, Vicky has a deep understanding of pain and varied emotions, making him a unique character. He's going to play an important role in Kavya's life and I'm excited to see this character develop along the way " the Anamika actor told ETimes.
