Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 Winner Karan Veer Mehra On 'Gashmeer Mahajani Deserving Winner' Trend: Felt Bad For Him

Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 Winner Karan Veer Mehra

Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 Winner: Karan Veer Mehra has emerged as the winner of the fourteenth season of the stunt-based reality show. He beat Gashmeer Mahajani and Krishna Shroff in the grand finale to win the Rohit Shetty show. In an exclusive interview with FilmiBeat, Karan Veer opened up about winning the show and also about what he thinks of a section of the audience feeling that Gashmeer Mahajani was also a deserving winner.

When asked if he was always confident about winning the show, Karan Veer said, "When I got the show, I felt like I was the only one. Even when I met the contestants during the visa process and press conference, which took place before the shoot of the show, I was pretty confident about myself. But when the shoot started and everyone began performing stunts, that's when reality hit: each and every contestant had the same mindset of winning the show and acing the stunts. Everyone was good at something and bad at other things. You could say it was a bit of luck, too, that when these contestants were performing stunts against me, they were a bit weak in those stunts."

Recalling the moment when his name was declared as the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, the actor said, "It's an extremely good feeling. I mean, when my name was announced as the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, I just remember that line; everything else is a blur. For a brief period, it was all in slow motion. Now that I am giving interviews and talking about the win, it's sinking in."

When informed how a section of people on social media believes that Gashmeer Mahajani was also a deserving winner, Karan Veer said, "Honestly, I also felt bad for him. He was a deserving winner; he had all the ingredients. Again, this show also requires a little bit of presence of mind, which he didn't demonstrate. I felt he was more focused on how he looked while doing the stunt. He didn't compete as much. He mostly thought about how the stunt was designed and didn't consider how he actually had to compete and outshine others. By the time he realized it, it was too late. Of course, I would say he just got unlucky."

Rumors are rife that post-winning Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Karan Veer Mehra is all set to participate in Bigg Boss 18
