Kundali Bhagya was launched in July 2017 after its parent show Kumkum Bhagya garnered mind-boggling ratings. The spin-off show starred Dheeraj Dhoopar and Shraddha Arya in lead roles. Dheeraj bid adieu to the daily soap in 2022 and the makers introduced Shakti Arora as the new lead.

After the creative decided to go for a generation leap, Shakti quit the serial. Sana Sayyad, Basheer Ali and Paras Kalnawat joined Kundali Bhagya as the three leads. While Shraddha continued to be a part of the show, the track shifted focus on the new kids on the block.

A reliable source exclusively told Filmibeat, "Kundali Bhagya is heading towards another generation. The main cast is expected to quit following the time jump. The makers have planned a special twist after the drop in ratings as the channel has given an ultimatum to the production house to increase the numbers. Both Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya have witnessed decrease in their viewership in recent times despite the promotions and constant twists and turns."

PARAS KALNAWAT QUITS KUNDALI BHAGYA- WHAT'S THE REASON

Amid speculations of his exit, Filmibeat can confirm that Paras Kalnawat has decided to leave the show. "Paras has quit the show. He has put down his papers and will shoot for his last episode," a source told Filmibeat. "The leap is said to be the reason behind his exit from Kundali Bhagya," the khabri added.

Paras Kalnawat has quit the show after Sana Sayyad and Baseer Ali put down their papers. Shraddha Arya will continue to feature in the serial.

Paras shot to fame after playing the role of Samarth in Anupamaa. He was fired from Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna's show for taking up Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 on a rival channel (Colors TV).
