Kundali Bhagya twist: It's not an easy feat to run a show for close to 2000 episodes. At a time when many daily soaps have ended within six months, Zee TV is airing two long-running dramas- Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya.

KUNDALI BHAGYA NEW EPISODE UPDATE

After the success of Kumkum Bhagya, Zee TV and Ekta Kapoor launched the spin-off of the show. The gamble worked as Kundali Bhagya emerged as a fan favourite and often defeated Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to clinch the slot leadership at 9:30pm.

The show started with Shraddha Arya and Dheeraj Dhoopar as the leads. Shakti Arora joined Kundali Bhagya after Dheeraj left the serial. Shakti Anand replaced Arora after the Zee TV show witnessed a change in track due to leap.

Following the trend of Hindi shows taking a generation leap, Kundali Bhagya also introduced a new cast and time jump in 2023. The likes of Sana Sayyad, Paras Kalnawat and Baseer Ali joined the show after the leap track was incorporated into the storyline. Many shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Imlie, Pandya Store, Udaariyaan, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin took a leap to spice up the drama.

If the recent buzz is to believed, Shraddha Arya might bid adieu to Kundali Bhagya. Speculations about her exit from the hit Zee TV show have been rife since a long time. The rumours gained momentum once again after a portal reported that the TV diva might bid adieu to her show after playing the role of Preeta for seven years. Interestingly, Kundali Bhagya will complete 7 successful years next month.

According to a report in IWMBuzz, Shraddha Arya might quit Kundali Bhagya due to her health issues. The channel and the actress have remained tight-lipped about the rumours. She recently shot from her home as she was nursing an injury.
