Lakshmi Narayan cast: Colors TV is on a roll these days. The channel is launching back-to-back shows to keep the viewers engaged. From new fiction shows to reality shows, the leading GEC has introduced several new properties to keep the audience hooked on to their television sets.

LAKSHMI NARAYAN TRPS VS ANUPAMAA TRPS

Last month, the channel launched Lakshmi Narayan to spice up its weekday programming. The mythological show replaced Pracchand Ashok. Adnan Khan and Mallika Singh starrer went off air due to poor viewership. The low TRPs played a big role in the show's closure within three months of launch.

"Every year Colors TV suffers a drop in numbers after Bigg Boss ends. This year is no different. However, the low opening TRP of Pracchand Ashok is something to worry about. Despite a star-studded cast and strong promotional campaign, the historical show has failed to live up to the hype. A TVR of less than 1 is definitely not what the channel expected," a source earlier told Filmibeat.

Despite the massive promotions, Lakshmi Narayan has not been able to cross the one-TRP mark at 10pm. Competition with IPL 2024 and Anupamaa has affected the viewership of the mythological show. While the buzz for the show is good, the numbers have been disappointing.

The makers are confident that the show will strike a chord with the audience. They have asked the viewers to watch the show and enjoy the episodes on TV and online.

Shivya Pathania, Srikant Dwivedi are essaying the respective roles of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu in Lakshmi Narayan. They are joined by Tarun Khanna, Puneet Vashisht.
