Laughter Chefs new time slot: When Colors TV launched Laughter Chefs in June 2024, little did the industry experts know that it would emerge as the most successful non-fiction show of the year. The cooking reality show has managed to strike a chord with the audience, courtesy of the entertaining episode.

Laughter Chefs features some of the most popular celebrities on television- Aly Goni, Rahul Vaidya, Arjun Bijlani, Karan Kundrra, Kashmera Shah, Krushna Abhishek, Jannat Zubair, Reem Shaikh, Nia Sharma and Sudesh Lehri. It has become one of the top properties on the small screen, as per the BARC TRP ratings.

KHATRON KE KHILADI 14 LAUNCH DATE CONFIRMED

Rohit Shetty is all set to return to the TV screens with a blockbuster season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. The upcoming season features an interesting line-up of contestants. The likes of Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Karan Veer Mehra, Gashmeer Mahajani, Abhishek Kumar, Shalin Bhanot, Asim Riaz, Krishna Shroff, Niyati Fatnani, Aditi Sharma, Shilpa Shinde, Sumona Chakravarti, Aashish Mehrotra are participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.

The show will launch on July 27 at 9:30pm slot, replacing Laughter Chefs on weekends on Colors channel.

WILL LAUGHTER CHEFS END AFTER KHATRON KE KHILADI 14 PREMIERE

After Colors TV released the promotional promo for Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14, there were rumours about Laughter Chefs ending. However, Filmibeat shared an exclusive update about the show receiving an extension. We even mentioned that the number one reality show might get a new time slot. The report turned out to be true.

"Laughter Chefs is a popular property for Colors TV. The channel might give an extension to the show and shift it to either 8 or 8:30pm slot on weekends. There's no official confirmation about the same as the actors are still busy shooting for Laughter Chefs," the source added.

LAUGHTER CHEFS EXTENSION AND NEW TIME SLOT

If the recent buzz is to be believed, Colors channel has decided to change the timings of Laughter Chefs and shift the show to a weekday slot to make way for Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14.

Filmibeat has learned that the GEC has decided to push the show to the weekday slot. "As Lakshmi Narayan and Suhagan Chudail were not fetching amazing ratings during the 10-11pm slot, the channel has decided to experiment by shifting Laughter Chefs to Thursday and Friday 10pm slot. It is a gamble and the programming team is confident that Karan Kundrra's show will continue to grab eyeballs at a new time slot," a source told Filmibeat.
