Ankit Gupta Web Series Update: Ankit Gupta, a television actor whose journey began with Balika Vadhu in 2012, has achieved remarkable success, establishing himself as one of the most beloved stars on the small screen. Renowned for his roles in shows like Sadda Haq and Begusarai, he garnered acclaim for portraying Fateh, the central character in the hit Colors show Udaariyaan, alongside Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.

Ankit Gupta's fame reached new heights when he appeared on Salman Khan's controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 16. Following his stint on Bigg Boss, he delighted fans with his performance in Junooniyat as Jahaan which ended last year in November.

Well, it is a known fact that the talented actor is set to make his small screen comeback with the much-awaited Star Plus show titled Maati Se Bandhi Dor. Starring Marathi actress Rutuja Bagwe as the female lead, the new show is likely to replace Adrija Roy and Sai Ketan Rao's Imlie at the 8:30 pm time slot in May end or the beginning of June.

Additionally, it's expected that the trailer will be unveiled sometime this week. However, the creators have yet to make an official announcement regarding the premiere date. Ankit Gupta, currently engaged in promotional endeavors, recently stirred excitement among fans by confirming his participation in a web series alongside Maati Se Bandhi Dor. Yes, you heard that right!

ANKIT GUPTA CONFIRMS HAVING A WEB-SERIES IN PIPELINE

When asked about the web-series reports, he told Tellymasala, "Uske liye main ye bolunga ki thoda sa waqt aur... wait kijiye. Kuch bohot acha, bohot jald aane wala hai."

On being asked if he's interested in portraying negative shades onscree, Ankit added, "Mujhe bohot pasand hai negative characters aur mai bilkul karna chahunga. Kyunki, as an actor, aapke paas bohot kuch hota hai karne ke liye. When you're doing a negative role, aapki koi seema nahi hoti. Toh aap kuch bhi kar sakte ho. For an actor, it's a very good thing. I really love negative characters, in fact, I've done negative roles in past. I've done in Illegal (Hotstar series), I've done in Kundali Bhagya. Unmei bohot maza aaya and hopefully, agar kabhi dobara mauka milega, I will definitely do it."
