Maati Se Bandhi Dor update: Star Plus has made quite a few programming changes in the past one month. While Pandya Store went off air to make way for Ankit Gupta and Rutuja Bagwe starrer Maati Se Bandhi Dor, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin took a seven-year leap.

Shakti Arora made an exit from GHKPM while Bhavika Sharma was retained in the hit romantic show. Hitesh Bharadwaj has replaced Shakti as the new male lead of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. After the leap, the numbers have dropped a bit. Amid the new programming changes, there's a buzz that one show has received a notice from the channel.

Gossip mills have been buzzing with the rumours that Star Plus has issued a notice to the makers of Maati Se Bandhi Dor to improve the viewership. As the leading GEC has multiple shows in pipeline, it wants to axe the non-performing shows.

Colors TV's Parineetii has bounced back in the numbers game after the small leap. The show has raced ahead by garnering a TRP of 1.5. Meanwhile, MSBD is stuck at 1.1 TVR at 7:30pm slot.

A source exclusively told Filmibeat, "Star Plus is not pleased with the initial ratings of Maati Se Bandhi Dor. Pandya Store, which earlier aired at the 7:30pm slot, was performing better than Maati Se Bandhi Dor. The channel is unhappy with the response the new show has received and hence, they have issued a notice to the production house to improve the TRPs or shut shop. Whenever a new show will be commissioned, Maati Se Bandhi Dor will face axe, if the numbers don't increase in the next four weeks."

The production house and the channel have not officially confirmed the rumours but the low numbers have created chatters in the industry.
