Maati Se Bandhi Dor TRP: The BARC TRP ratings for week 22 have been released on Thursday (June 6). TV buffs have been eagerly waiting for the TRP list as several new shows were launched last week. From Suhagan Chudail to Maati Se Bandhi Dor, daily soaps were introduced on different channels to keep the audience entertained.

Shows like Anupamaa and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin performed well while the new launches failed to strike a chord with the audience in the first week.

A reliable industry source told Filmibeat, "Star Plus shows were expected to gain the maximum viewership after IPL 2024 finale. This year, the viewers have not returned back to GEC following the culmination of the cash-rich cricket league. It will take some time for the TV viewers to return completely to their daily soaps. The channels need to be patient enough and not take any drastic decision as they are already facing competition from OTT."

Ankit Gupta has made a return to the fiction space with Maati Se Bandhi Dor. While the Bigg Boss 16 star plays the role of Rannvijay, Rutuja Bagwe is seen as Vaijanati. They are well supported by Gaurav Mukesh, Shivani Chakraborty and Shaan Mishra.

Pandya Store registered a TRP of 1.2 in its last two days. Compared to the show, MSBD opened with a rating of 1.3. The first day TRP is 1.3 while the average TVR for the week is 1.2. Despite the low ratings, the daily soap performed better than Pandya Store and Parineetii on rival channel Colors.

Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna's show scored a TRP of 2.3 in week 22 of 2024. Maati Se Bandhi Dor might have lacked behind in the numbers race in first week but it has the potential to touch the 1.5 TVR-mark soon.
