A reliable industry source exclusively told Filmibeat, "The casting for Maddam Sir season 2 is currently underway. It has been confirmed that Gulki Joshi is no longer a part of the show. The makers are auditioning new actors for the sitcom which will return with a new season. While Gulki Joshi has not been retained in season two, the casting team has also not approached the original cast for the show. As Bhavika Sharma is busy with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, she will not be seen in Madam Sir 2."
