Filmibeat was the first portal to reveal that Maddam Sir season 2 will be launched on Sony SAB. The channel executives have refrained from speaking about the new installment; however, we can confirm that the new season will be launched in the second half of 2024.

A reliable industry source earlier told us, "The casting for Maddam Sir season 2 is currently underway. It has been confirmed that Gulki Joshi is no longer a part of the show. The makers are auditioning new actors for the sitcom which will return with a new season. While Gulki Joshi has not been retained in season two, the casting team has also not approached the original cast for the show. As Bhavika Sharma is busy with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, she will not be seen in Madam Sir 2."

There's a buzz that Mahabharat fame Pooja Sharma has been approached to play the lead in Maddam Sir 2. The actress, who was paired opposite Shaheer Sheikh in Mahabharat, is said to have signed the dotted lines for the project.

Gulki Joshi, while talking to a leading daily, opened up about not being approached for Maddam Sir 2. She said that she doesn't have a particular view about it. The actress said that she was getting tagged in a lot of posts that suggested she would play the lead role in the show.

"I don't particularly have a view on it. I was like yeh kya ho raha hai," Gulki Joshi told ETimes. She added that no one approached her and the fans were getting excited, so she decided to reveal the truth. The Phir Subah Hogi actress added that she had no idea whether Maddam Sir season two was coming or not.
