Filmibeat was the first portal to inform our beloved readers about Maddam Sir 2. The show starring Gulki Joshi, Bhavika Sharma and Yukti Kapoor turned out to be a big success for Sony SAB. The channel is expected to bring the new season with a fresh cast.

Maddam Sir season 2 won't feature Gulki Joshi and Bhavika Sharma. The makers have started the auditions for the upcoming season, which will hit the airwaves in the second half of 2024.

A reliable industry source earlier told Filmibeat, "The casting for Maddam Sir season 2 is currently underway. It has been confirmed that Gulki Joshi is no longer a part of the show. The makers are auditioning new actors for the sitcom which will return with a new season. While Gulki Joshi has not been retained in season two, the casting team has also not approached the original cast for the show. As Bhavika Sharma is busy with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, she will not be seen in Madam Sir 2."

The launch date of Madam Sir 2 has not been made official as of now.

WHO WILL REPLACE GULKI JOSHI (HASEENA) IN MADDAM SIR 2?

If the recent buzz is to be believed, the makers have approached a popular TV star to play the protagonist in Maddam Sir season 2. We are talking about Pooja Sharma. According to a report in India Forums, she has finalised as the lead for the show. She will replace Gulki Joshi aka Haseena in the much-awaited season.

Pooja Sharma is fondly known for her role of Draupadi in Mahabharat, where she was paired opposite Shaheer Sheikh. She earned rave reviews for her performance in Mahakali Anth Hi Aarambh Hai, which also starred Sourabh Raaj Jain. If she signs the dotted lines for Maddam Sir 2, the sitcom will mark her return to the small screen.
