Maddam Sir 2 Cast: Pooja Sharma's 'Public Police' Has No Connection With Gulki Joshi's Maddam Sir Season 2?

Maddam Sir 2 cast: TV buffs have been unable to control their excitement ever since rumours about Maddam Sir season 2 surfaced on the internet. The first season starring Gulki Joshi, Bhavika Sharma and Yukti Kapoor turned out to be massive hit and entertained the audience for close to three years.

GULKI JOSHI TO NOT PLAY LEAD IN MADDAM SIR 2?

Filmibeat was the first portal to confirm that Gulki Joshi won't be reprising her role of Haseena Malik in the second season. She was not approached for the show as the makers are looking for a new face to play the lead role.

A reliable industry source earlier told Filmibeat, "The casting for Maddam Sir season 2 is currently underway. It has been confirmed that Gulki Joshi is no longer a part of the show. The makers are auditioning new actors for the sitcom which will return with a new season. While Gulki Joshi has not been retained in season two, the casting team has also not approached the original cast for the show. As Bhavika Sharma is busy with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, she will not be seen in Madam Sir 2."

POOJA SHARMA TO REPLACE GULKI JOSHI IN MADDAM SIR SEASON TWO?

Gossip mills have claimed that Pooja Sharma has been locked to play the lead role in a show called Public Police. The viewers got confused between Public Police and Maddam Sir season 2, believing that the upcoming show was the second season of Maddam Sir.

Pooja Sharma is fondly known for her role of Draupadi in Mahabharat. She later played the titular role in Mahakali: Ant Hi Aarambh Hai. If she signs the project, it will mark her return to the small screen after six long years.

She was seen opposite Shaheer Sheikh in Mahabharat, which set the TRP charts on fire when it aired on Star Plus.
